Better Decisions

Better Decisions

Have you ever just sat down and thought about the aspects of life? Do you sometimes take things for granted? Do you learn from your mistakes and make better decisions? Or do we continue to make those same mistakes in our lifetime.

Sometimes we wish we could go back in time and make better decisions. If a time machine really exist our world would be so perfect. I can just go back in time and correct everything mistake I ever made. I know that mistakes I make in life are meant to be. I learn and I better myself.

Sickness came upon a family member and I realized that I can't take my life for granted. He is now doing better but still facing the difficulties of this unknown sickness. Now I have the chance to visit and comfort him like I should have.  I, Tatyanta will live life to the fullest and make the best of it. I now accomplish challenges to the best of my abilities. Tragedies can change your thoughts and actions and it certainly did for me. I always hear that your fate is determined by your actions. It is absolutely true. Take my advice and make mistakes and then learn from them. Most of all always remember the one who are with you throughout your journey.

Remembering a Leader

The anniversary for Martin Luther King march has been very popular. Do you think our leaders today carry on his dream?

I personally think that Martin Luther King's dream has partially came true. He wanted for us to be free and not discriminated against. He wanted to make a change in the community and society. In today's world some people use their race as an excuse for not succeeding. We look at the past events of the harm and danger that African Americans faced. I look into the future and dream of a better world. A world with joy. A world with equality. Just like our civil rights leaders wanted. Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King wanted the best for us. I can truly believe that its not to late to change your ways.Work hard and go for what you want. Your age, gender, race, or ethnicity should not matter. You are a human being with a dream.
